Deringer-Ney is a global leader in invention and application of custom precious metal alloys and precision machined, wireformed components like wires, foils and bars. In the medical industry Deringer-Ney serves manufacturer for dental implant materials and components as well as for interventional, implantable and hearing aid devices.
Partnering with MicroGroup, one of the world’s largest producers of tubular metal components, the portfolio ranges from simple cut-to-length tubing to complex custom engineered parts, in quantities ranging from trial volumes to large commercial runs which can be realized in exceptionally short lead times.
We offer fine wire from less than .003" (.076mm) in diameter and precious metal bars starting at 0.25“ (6,35mm) in diameter. Wire lengths range from miniature cut pieces to continuous reels. Flat, half round and custom configurations are also available.
Materials: Stainless Steel, Titanium, Precious Metal Alloys (Platinum, Palladium, Gold Alloys)
We offer foils (tape and strip) from .001" (.025mm) thick. Lengths range from miniature cut pieces to continuous reels. Flat, half round and custom configurations are also available.
Materials: Precious Metal Alloys (Platinum, Palladium, Gold Alloys)
Tubing can be provided of virtually any O.D., but most available sizes range between 0.005″ (0,127mm) O.D. and 1.0″ (25,4mm) O.D. Metal stock can be cut to lengths as short as .010″(0,254mm) up to >20 feet (>6m), with tolerances of ± 0.0005″(0,0127mm) or better.
Materials: Stainless Steel, Titanium
With our network we can offer a complete range of cutting methods to suit the most specific requirement—from rough cuts to extremely precise, burr-free cuts with high quality edges and finishes.
Cutting methods include:
With a fully functional machine shop, we can cut using Band Saws, Cold Saws, Lathes and Shears for larger or unconventional shapes and sizes.
Deburring can be accomplished using a variety of techniques, from state-of-the-art cutting methods to traditional hand and wire wheel processes, as the size, shape, material, finish and quantity of your parts dictate.
