Syringe solutions for medical device applications

Medical syringes are used wherever fluids must be delivered or aspirated safely, accurately and reliably. Depending on the application, different syringe types are required. Our portfolio supports a wide range of medical applications:
  • Angiography and contrast media injection
  • PTCA balloon inflation and deflation
  • Aspiration and vacuum procedures
  • Medication delivery and injection systems
  • Interventional cardiology and radiology
  • Biopsy and fine-needle aspiration
  • Sterile single-use kits and OEM assemblies
  • Colour-coded medication safety systems

Angiography & control syringes

Angiography syringes are rated for contrast media injection at pressures up to 1,200 psi. Ergonomic grip options–thumb ring, finger rings or palm pad–allow precise control and injection movements. All models feature luer-lock connections and are made from DEHP-free polycarbonate.

Available configurations:
  • Control syringes with finger rings
  • Control syringes with palm pad
  • 10 ml and 12 ml volumes
  • Male luer lock and rotating adaptor connections

Indeflation & vacuum syringes

Indeflation syringes are engineered for precise balloon inflation and deflation during PTCA, PTA and related interventional procedures. Integrated pressure gauges and locking mechanisms enable controlled pressure application. Vacuum syringes generate reliable negative pressure for aspiration and thrombus extraction.

Indeflation syringes

MedNet indeflation syringes are designed for PTCA, PTA and related procedures. Integrated manometers and locking mechanisms allow precise pressure control. Supplied sterile, ready for immediate use in the cath lab.

Available options:

  • 20 ml volume
  • Round handle and T-handle configurations
  • Polycarbonate (PC), clear
  • Male luer lock connection

Vacuum syringes

Vacuum syringes from MedNet generate reliable negative pressure for aspiration, sampling and thrombus extraction. A robust locking mechanism holds vacuum stably during the procedure. Luer-lock compatible, sterile packed.

Available options:

  • 30 ml volume
  • Polycarbonate (PC), clear
  • Male luer lock connection
  • Compatible with standard catheters and manifolds

Colour-coded syringes (ISO 26825)

Colour-coded syringes help clinicians identify medications at a glance, reducing drug administration errors in anaesthesia, critical care and emergency medicine. Each syringe combines standardised ISO 26825 colour coding with precision-moulded barrels and luer-lock connections. Available in multiple volumes (1–30 ml), sterile and non-sterile.

Frequently asked questions about syringes

What is an angiography syringe?

A high-pressure syringe for contrast media injection during imaging procedures, rated up to 1,200 psi with luer-lock connections.

What is an indeflation syringe?

A syringe used for precise balloon inflation and deflation during PTCA, PTA and interventional procedures, featuring an integrated pressure gauge.

What volumes are available?

Our portfolio covers 1 ml to 30 ml–colour-coded (1–30 ml), control syringes (10–12 ml), indeflation (20 ml) and vacuum (30 ml).

Are these syringes suitable for single-use?

Yes. All syringes in the MedNet portfolio are designed for single use, sterile-packed, DEHP-free and compatible with sterile kits and OEM assemblies.

What materials are used?

Polycarbonate (PC), Tritan (copolyester, BPA-free) or oil-free Tritan–all DEHP-free and certified for disposable medical applications.

Can syringes be integrated into OEM assemblies?

Yes. MedNet syringes can be integrated into medical device assemblies, disposable sets and fluid management systems.

How do I choose the right syringe?

The right syringe depends on application, required volume, pressure rating, grip configuration and material compatibility. Our team is happy to advise.
