Aran's homopolymer polypropylene Protex Med™ is a permanently implantable material that is suitable as granulate for injection molding or extrusion processing. It is certified according to ISO 10993-5 (cytotoxicity) and is suitable for long-term implants.

Nanomed® compounds are custom formulated to improve structural performance of medical grade polymers, while minimizing the effect on flexibility, ductility and surface finish.

ProPell™ Low Friction Compounds incorporate proprietary surface enhancing additives into a wide range of medical grade polymers to reduce inherent coefficient of friction, while retaining desired mechanical properties. All ProPell™ formulations are PFAS free.

Aromatic thermoplastic polyurethanes are available in polyether and polyester grades. Continuous production ensures consistency with Shore hardness of 75A to 70D. Some grades have been successfully tested according to USP Class VI.

Semi-crystalline, semi-aromatic polyamide made from meta-xylene diamine offers higher mechanical strength than nylon 6/6, lower moisture absorption and improved gas barrier properties, ideal for packaging.

The thermoplastically processable fluoropolymer Kynar® offers excellent chemical resistance, high purity, thermal stability, low friction, high tensile strength as well as gas and radiation resistance. USP class VI certified, sterilizable via gamma or steam.

These thermoplastic elastomers combine soft elastomer and rigid polyamide segments, which enables a wide range of physical and mechanical properties. They are plasticizer-free, melt-processable and certified in accordance with USP Class VI and ISO 10993.

Rilsamid® polymers, flexible polyamides made from hydrocarbons, have the lowest density (1.01) of all polyamides. They offer excellent formability, low moisture absorption and are suitable for extrusion and injection molding.

Rilsan® Clear grades (G170, G850) are polyamides that combine transparency, low weight and flexibility. More transparent than glass and more flexible than polycarbonate, ideal for respiratory masks and hearing aids.

FKZM MED is a highly glass-filled advanced polymer with engineering-grade properties, made from bio-based polyamide 11. It offers excellent physical properties, biocompatibility, steam sterilizability, chemical resistance, processability, a wide color range, and great aesthetics.

Rilsan® polymers are flexible polyamides made from castor oil with a specific weight of 1.03, 15% lighter than nylon 6. They offer excellent stretchability, low moisture absorption and replace glass or metal in medical applications.
