Radial Compression Bandage: now with optimized design!

The MedNet radial compression bandage assists in achieving reliable vascular hemostasis after a transradial procedure. The clear pad is placed over the puncture point and the velcro strap closed. The compression knob provides adjustable pressure to achieve hemostasis while allowing antegrade flow.

To reduce skin irritation on patients arm around the puncture point, the pad cover has been redesigned with a more comfortable shape. This optimized form eliminates pressure marks on the patient‘s arm.

MedNet’s radial compression bandages can be supplied with velcro bands of 22cm and 26cm for adults as well as 18cm for pediatric use. A scale on the compression adjustment knob provides a visual reference to aid clinicians reduce pressure gradually before removal.
